The Miracle at Cana

Following the account in John 2:1-11, Jesus directs the servants to fill the jars with water, which when poured out is found to be wine of the finest quality.

This is one of the 13 mosaics of the life of Christ along the upper band of the left wall of the nave. Standing at the east end of the band, closest to the apse, this and the Loaves and Fishes mosaic are directly opposite the Last Supper image on the right wall, reflecting the belief that these miracles were types of the Eucharist celebrated in the apse (Deliyannis 154).

See also a view of the entire left wall, with commentary on the iconography of Jesus and the apostles in these mosaics.
